Diabetic Foot Ulcers
Assessment, debridement, and offloading to protect the limb.
Read MoreBedsores and pressure ulcers at any stage, including offloading strategy.
Pressure injuries develop where sustained pressure cuts off blood supply to the skin and the tissue beneath it, most often over the sacrum, heels, and hips. They range from intact but discoloured skin through to full-thickness wounds exposing deeper structures.
Treatment addresses both the wound and the cause. Alongside dressing and debridement, we work on the offloading and repositioning that stops the same pressure being reapplied, because a pressure injury will not close while the pressure remains.
