Venous ulcers do not heal without addressing the underlying venous pressure. Multi-layer compression is the standard of care, and getting it fitted correctly matters as much as applying it at all.
We fit and adjust compression over the course of treatment, and work with the patient on what happens after the wound closes to reduce the chance of recurrence.
